It's a hot summer and the heat is unbearable. But then, suddenly you feel a cool breeze. You look up at the sky and see dark clouds at a distance. You feel happy at the relief that is about to come and right then, you can smell the unmistakable earthy aroma of water on the soil. You know it is just a matter of minutes before it begins. Soon, it's lightning and thunder and it starts pouring. Boondein, meaning droplets in Hindi, is a song about rain and all the emotions that come with it.
